Madison Rowley shoots this beautiful, eerie, wistful video for indie artist Stone Jack Jones on 16mm Kodak stock. I don’t know much about the band, but I love the feel of this film. I’m always a sucker for surreal work that sets a strong mood while giving the viewer a window into pausing and pondering reality.

To me, work like this piece shows that film is still the standard that digital video must seek to achieve.
