My lasting memory of Dr. Abraham from the Philippines.... a hardworking pastor / scholar who is not afraid to nap anywhere.... even in a church. 🤣
#Manila presents a sprawling visual buffet. The variety and diversity always gives you something to see. One minute, you’re at the beach with a So Cal feel. A few minutes later, you’re at a rough and ready roadside market. @rev.insta.gram has only been here for a few months and he already knows where to find fascinating experiences.
Any idea what these guys are doing? ...... ...... ...... Harvesting #mangos with a long stick. Most of the time he can catch the fruit before it hits the street. Impressive!
Catching up as we catch the #Manila sites with the @rev.insta.gram. He’s still smiling in this photo despite indulging my attempts to get him hooked on chill hop. 😀
Remembering a few lines from an often forgotten stanza of the US national anthem as we walk among memories of the fallen: “And thus be it ever when free men shall stand between their loved homes and the war’s desolation.” May there be peace always and may we be brave when we must.
“Get thee behind me, sugar.” After all, you cannot serve God and Mamon 🤣
