Charles turned two this week.

One thing Sarah and I quickly realized as we celebrated was that a two-year old’s birthday party isn’t really for the kid. It’s for the parents. We all survived the last 24 months. None of us died. The house didn’t burn down. We laughed and cried. Good job, us. Happy Birthday, Charles.
