Charles turned two this week.
One thing Sarah and I quickly realized as we celebrated was that a two-year old’s birthday party isn’t really for the kid. It’s for the parents. We all survived the last 24 months. None of us died. The house didn’t burn down. We laughed and cried. Good job, us. Happy Birthday, Charles.

Sarah hung balloons and streamers. She also taped cars to the wall because Charles love cars.

The menu was a selection of Charles’ favorites: Freshly peeled hotdogs, pasta in a delightful powered cheese sauce. Charles also got to try, for the very first time, ice cream.
