As Sarah learned last week, blogs can make great birthday presents — especially when dozens of sweet friends pitch in to make it a blog party.
There’s just one problem with blogs. They’re famously difficult to wrap.Dozens of Sarah’s friends and family pitched in to help create a special blog for Sarah’s birthday. Each person described “why I love Sarah” then posted their response here.
I wish everyone who contributed could have seen Sarah’s reaction as she read each message during dinner at her favorite restaurant from an iPad. She was surprised and encouraged. And that’s about all you can hope for.
High fives all around!
So, here’s how to wrap a blog, in pictures.
- 9. Enjoy!
- 8. Serve with chocolate-covered strawberries.
- 7. Heat to a boil.
- 6. Take her to her favorite restaurant.
- 5. Ask a Lab for help if necessary.
- 4. Top it with a bow.
- 3. Wrap it in a box.
- 2. Include a shiny object
- 1. Make a card.
I never thought about a blog being a present, such a great idea
WordPress makes it super easy to collaborate on a blog like this. It’s really great if you have friends and family all over the place.
