One of the things we were most curious and anxious about when we brought Charles (aka Chuck Bear) home from the hospital was how The Brown would react to his new boy.
So, we brought Charles in, set him down in his car seat, and turned on the camera to capture the moment of truth. Would our three-year old chocolate Lab welcome the baby, ignore it, or….???

The video wouldn’t play for me, but the pic is adorable! Our dog was immèdiately protective of our first one. I hope the same holds true for the second.
It’s amazing how dogs seem to know that babies need extra care! Thanks for the heads up on the video link… I think I fixed it. 🙂
