You, my friend, deserve to wake up tomorrow feeling like a champion. Like me.

That’s why you need to download my Olympics-ish sounding iphone ringtone and install it on your phone.

So…I got a little restless watching the Olympics last night once they started talking about figure skating. That’s when I busted out the ol’ iPad and decided to make an audio loop that kind of sounds like the olympic anthem but won’t break copyright laws.

And I made it my alarm ringtone. And I woke up feeling like a champion.

All of the timpani, none of the guilt.*

Here’s what it sounds like:

Here’s how to download and install it on your iDevice.

  1. Download the m4r version of the above music. M4r is the special audio file extension iTunes recognizes as a “ringtone.”
  2. Open iTunes on your computer, go to “tones.”
  3. Find the audio file you downloaded in step 1, drag it to iTunes and drop it in “tones.”
  4. Sync your iDevice, set your alarm tone to your new ringtone and enjoy feeling like a champion tomorrow morning.

*FUN FACT: Timpani is the Italian plural form of timpano. So if there’s more than one timpano, we call them timpani.
