When you’re looking through the view finder, what you see is only the start of what you get.

The prints from this shoot in a Texas field are a perfect example of what I mean. You start with a good photo. But much of the magic – and many of the decisions – happen at the edit desk. Warm with vintage flair? Faded cool tones with greens that pop? Black and white with lots of texture?

The only rules are: Let the subjects be themselves and let the looks you create show their heart and soul.

Thanks to the very creative Julie Williams for letting us turn the camera on her this time. 🙂
